Op deze site vind je een overzicht van mijn verzameling model raceauto’s van Nederlandse coureurs.
Alle modellen in deze DutchDriverCollection zijn in de schaal 1:43 en zijn alleen circuit raceauto’s.
Deze Dutch Driver Collectie site geeft een overzicht van de indrukwekkende race historie van de Nederlanders op de mondiale circuits door de jaren heen.
De verzameling is begonnen in de tijd dat Jos Verstappen aan zijn Formule-1 avontuur begon. Dat was in 1993. In het begin waren dat modellen van Jos die ik via zijn fanclub kocht. Maar al snel kwamen er ook modellen van andere Nederlanders bij. Inmiddels bestaat de collectie uit ruim 820 modellen van zo'n 180 verschillende Nederlandse coureurs.
Inmiddels werd het steeds moeilijker om kant en klare modellen te kopen en dus moest ik ook zelf modellen gaan maken. Voornamelijk uit bestaande kitjes maar tegenwoordig worden die bijna niet meer gemaakt en dus moet ik modellen gaan ombouwen naar de wagens die ik graag aan mijn verzameling wil toevoegen.
Op die manier heb ik bv alle modellen waar ooit een Nederlander mee gereden heeft op Le Mans. Volgens mij is dat een unicum. De volgende stap is om veel mogelijk modellen te verzamelen van de Nederlanders in de Formule-1.
Loop deze site maar eens door en bekijk al het moois maar eens.
En kom vooral vaak terug, want er komt zeer regelmatig veel nieuws bij.

About Dutch Driver Collection
On this site you can find my collection of model cars of Dutch racing drivers.
All models in this DutchDriverCollection are in 1:43 scale and are all circuit racecars.
This Dutch Driver Collection site give you an impression of the impressive race history of the Dutch on the international race circuits thru the years.
I started the collection in the time when Jos Verstappen began racing Formula 1. This was back in 1993. In the beginning I only had models of Jos that I bought from his fan club. But it was not long that I also bought models of other Dutch racing drivers. Today the collection exists of more then 500 models of approximately 130 different Dutch drivers.
Meanwhile it became more difficult to buy ready-made models, so I had to make them myself.
In the beginning I could use model kits but these days they almost don’t make them anymore. So I started to rebuild existing models and make them like the model I wanted to have.
Now I have a model car of all the cars that ever drove in Le Mans in the hands of a Dutch driver.
I think that that is unique. The next step is to have as much Formula 1 models as I can from Dutch drivers.
